Round Five Dirt track Championship

Dirt Track Championship Round 4 - Results

Round 4 was taking place at Rye House. Having missed the third round due to mechanical problems meant that i was down on points. Having raced at Rye House as a junior back in 2001 i thought i would use all knowledge i had of the tight tricky track. The track being dry and dusty at times meant only one thing, stick to the kerb and turn it on. A second in the first race was a good start after such a break. Third in the second race and a change was needed. Battling in the reamaining races provided some close arm to arm racing with a move under the other racers to gaven two more seconds. Fourteen point haul for the day!

3rd placed on the day was the final result. Which has placed myself in third overall in the championship standing, nicely placed ready for round five at The Stoke Speedway. Only seven points a drift from 2nd so a good result is needed at round five.

Season Close

Well it has been an eventfully season at the Speedways. Following on from that major crash at The Sittingbourne Speedway, we have fully recovered. Just a broken scaphoid to show for it. As the winter closes in we are preparing for the new season come March time, so folks keep an eye out for the latest exciting news. Be safe, and fast!

Racing Meeting 3rd May

Having top scored in the first race meeting of the season at the Sittingbourne Speedway two weeks ago and finishing fourth, and trying our hand a karting at sandown were planning on jumping everything up a gear to come back from south wales with a 1st place winning trophy. 12.30 start time at the Queensway Meadows Stadium so come down and Support the Jon Stevens Racing Team. Its a WIN in the making so make it a date this Bank Hoilday Monday! See you at Speedway!

Charity Race Meeting 30th April

Exclusive News!!!!! The Jon Stevens Racing Team are racing for a team in the Charity kart race at The Daytona circuit Sandown Park. Friday the 30th were changing from two wheels to four for one day only for a charity event in aid of NSPCC and the Air ambulance. Come down and give your support from 11am till 7pm.
