Season Close

Well it has been an eventfully season at the Speedways. Following on from that major crash at The Sittingbourne Speedway, we have fully recovered. Just a broken scaphoid to show for it. As the winter closes in we are preparing for the new season come March time, so folks keep an eye out for the latest exciting news. Be safe, and fast!

Racing Meeting 3rd May

Having top scored in the first race meeting of the season at the Sittingbourne Speedway two weeks ago and finishing fourth, and trying our hand a karting at sandown were planning on jumping everything up a gear to come back from south wales with a 1st place winning trophy. 12.30 start time at the Queensway Meadows Stadium so come down and Support the Jon Stevens Racing Team. Its a WIN in the making so make it a date this Bank Hoilday Monday! See you at Speedway!

Charity Race Meeting 30th April

Exclusive News!!!!! The Jon Stevens Racing Team are racing for a team in the Charity kart race at The Daytona circuit Sandown Park. Friday the 30th were changing from two wheels to four for one day only for a charity event in aid of NSPCC and the Air ambulance. Come down and give your support from 11am till 7pm. See you at the races!!!!!!

Race Meeting Report

A glorious british afternoon at the Sittingbourne Speedway produced excellant racing, congratulations to the track staff and mangement on providing an excellant surface. So the first race meeting of the season ended with a fourth place in the Nathan Gaymer Memorial Trophy. First Race, off gate two alongside the Newport National league rider Dan L'Anson, strong win in the fastest time of the day 60.1 sec. Moving on with another win in the next race. Unbeaten going into the next after a track water ment that a fast start was needed, as in the others a lightening start was had, but only a second place in that race. A win in the last race ment automatic quailification to the final. Choosing gate two, after a bad start from the gate and a wet track resulted in fourth place.

So on to the next race meeting.......... date to be confirmed.

Jon Stevens will be racing at the forthcoming Dragons Speedway Club Meeting at the Sittingbourne Speedway. Sunday 18th April. Come along show your support and have a chat.
